August Art Class, Wednesday the 20th - Mural Tour and Journals -
The Sandy Historical Society Museum is proud to host a monthly art class by the Wy’east Artisan’s Guild. This class is for elementary age kids (ages 7-12). Admission for our first class is $5. Future classes will be $12 for non-members and $8 for Sandy Historical Society Museum members.
Art classes are held at the Sandy Historical Society Museum on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. Summer classes will be 10:00-11:30.
During the school year classes will be held from 3:30-5:00.
August Class: Mural Tour and Journals - We'll visit the Better Together mural, look for our June students' designs and have a Q&A about the mural with the artist.
Afterward, we'll explore art as a form of communication and how artistic journal-keeping can be useful. (In the next class, we'll make our own journal/book.)
